Fifa Manager 09 Crash Win 7 and Win 10

Hi,

Sorry, please excuse me as I don't speak any French.

I have a legitimate copy of Fifa manager 09 but it crashes as I'm about to start a new game.

It starts fine, I can enter name and information, which club I want, but at the last second it crashes.

The game works fine on my laptop but not my PC.

I can run the game with no problems if I use a virtual machine.

Any ideas what is wrong?

I'm using an i7-2700k and a GTX980.

Thanks!

Hi
I have exactly the same problem now.
It worked for me on windows7 two years ago. Then I haven't played this game for two years until now. Today I installed the game and the crash to windows occurs after selecting club (in details: after 1st round of league cup draw).
The difference between PC setup in my case is that now I have much newer hardware. I have ryzen 7 processor, much more RAM memory. Two years ago I have old AMD Athlon x4 3GHz processor and less amount of RAM memory. But operating systems are the same.
Choosing windows XP/Vista compatibility mode for FifaManager exe doesn't resolve the problem.
This is frustrating a bit. I don't know what is wrong.
I also tried to run savegame which I had from two years back. And this save file is loaded succesfully, but the crash to windows occurs when You processing to another day in callendar. I worry that the problem maybe is that game doesn't support such new processors as Ryzen 7, probably EA developers ask our hardware how many cores it have, how many threads it supports and maybe design of this game is that application don't know what to do with such big amount of cores/threads.
If anybody solve this issue please write that is the rootcause. I still hope it is only some runtime library missing.
I have original game disc which I bought two years ago from secondary hand.

I don't know if it impacts version 9 but maybe try this:

Sorry, it's in French, and I don't have the courage to do it in English. :gene:

Thanks for trying but still no success with either 09 or 11 :(

I'm glad it worked for others though

Same here, it crashes when i pressed any key to start the game and that was after i switched from Windows 7 to 10. Any solution would be welcoming.
